Over the years, I’ve found it hard to find series that are longer than a trilogy, as well as a fantasy/magical aspect. When I started reading the Throne of Glass series, I got excited because it was a seven book series. I got slightly worried that some of the books in the middle would lack a good story line and be more of a filler book. After reading Heir of Fire, I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was such a fantastic book, I’m not sure why I ever doubted Sarah J. Mass. Definitely won’t be doing that again!

Heir of Fire was definitely different from the first two books. It followed more characters than just Celeana, which made for a better story. It was filled with adventure, courage, bravery, and learning to accept you for who you are. The stories led down different paths to make one amazing story. There were some new characters introduced and I’ve already fallen in love with a couple of them and then others, I wish would just disappear.

The reason I didn’t give Heir of Fire five stars is because the story took a while to develop. There was a lot of repetition and there is one perspective of the book that I’m still not sure how it correlates to the story. Besides those two minor things, I really don’t have anything bad to say about it. The ending left me wanting to read the next book as fast as I can.
